Sammy’s World’s Greatest Pizza is looking for a reliable and experienced restaurant professional to join our team as a Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing payroll, scheduling staff, and ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly during evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Managing payroll for all staff members, including processing time sheets and ensuring that all payments are accurate and made on time.
• Scheduling staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage at all times, by anticipating demand based while adhering to a staffing budget.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up the restaurant for service and closing it down at the end of the night.
• Ensuring the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment – Sammy’s prides itself on a healthy kitchen.
• Helping to ensure that all food is prepared and served to our high standards, without sacrificing speed of services.
• Any other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant experience is a must. Management experience is a huge plus, but not necessarily required. We believe that we can train the right person, but we cannot change the wrong person
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead by example. Must be able to maintain a positive kitchen culture without sacrificing quality or speed of service.
• Ability to work on the line, including preparing food and operating kitchen equipment, and able to interact with customers, answer phones, and coordinate deliveries as their orders come in
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

• Previous work experience as a Chef is a must, not necessarily in a pizzeria, though that would help.

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
